Gavin with his head against the rails... poor guy!!!
So as you all know Gavin has started rolling over. Well, he finds it necessary to roll over 10, 20, 30 (seems like that many) times in one night with each one ending in him getting upset and then crying. I feel so bad for the poor guy because I have found him numerous times with the back of his head planted to the crib so I can only imagine why this is upsetting to him. When he first started rolling over he would end up laying on his arm and that upset him, well he has now figured out how to pull that arm out from underneath him but he just can't seem to figure out how to roll back over. Last night he started rolling over at 11:30 in which I got up and rolled him back over then he did it again about 45 minutes later so I went back in there again, let me tell you, this routine pretty much continued the rest of the night until I finally woke up at 5:45 and just got him up to eat breakfast. I know he will eventually get the hang of rolling back over and that will make things better but until then we will help him so that he doesn't bruise his poor head... and to think they say to take the bumpers out once they start rolling over. With Jim and I taking turns to help the poor guy we are both completely wiped today. He hasn't slept a full night, except this past Friday, since he started rolling over the Saturday before. I will post pictures of this occurrence once I download them off the camera.

Oh the joys of parenthood!!! =P
These days are feeling so slow to you now, but they'll be gone in the blink of an eye, and your little man will be sleeping well and long! As quickly as he's growing, he'll get the turning over parts down pat! Then all you'll have are those memories of the short nights! Thankfully!
Love you all, Aunt Mary.
