Highchairs, walks, cereal, and toys. It's all in a good day of the life of Gavin. This past weekend Jim and I went to Kansas City to buy a camper and while we were there we visited Babies R Us to buy our little man a highchair. We got it set up the next day and he had his first feeding in the chair on Sunday, he really loves sitting in it which I am surprised about because he's restricted. I even put him in it last night and faced him toward the sliding door so he could look outside while I made his dinner... he was content until a poopie surprised him... ha.
Anytime he gets a little fussy because he's sleepy but it's way too late to take a nap I take him outside to get some fresh air and he is immediately content. Well, the other night around 8:00 he got fussy but hadn't had dinner yet and it wasn't quite time for dinner so I put him in his stroller and off we went down the road. He just loves that he is sitting in the big part of the stroller and instead of his carseat, well he got a little too comfortable and fell asleep on our way back so I just had to post a picture.
Lastly, he has decided that he wants to hold his bottle while eating. The other night he held his bottle while he finished eating his formula, he even pulled the bottle out of his mouth and put it back in. Mommy's not quite read to give that up but I know that it's an accomplishment for him so I guess I'll have to let him, well every now and then at least.
