Saturday we took Gavin to the Runge Nature Center for a Parents as Teachers activity. The coordinator had a lady at Runge teach the kids the differences between frogs and toads, like frogs jump while toads just hop, hop, hop. It was really cute to see all the kids lined up jumping and hopping. She had real frogs and toads for the kids to pet as well. Of course our little guy was the youngest kid there but he pretty much sat still in my lap while watching the other kids, they kept him entertained. We still got involved and had him touch a toad and I clanked together rocks to do the frog harmony. It was a neat day and we had fun walking around seeing the other diplays.
