Bye-Bye Bullet!!!
Since around Christmas time Gavin's hair has been referred to as 'bullet' which stands for baby mullet. As any mom knows it's hard to get that first hair cut taking your once curly haired baby boy to a toddling around boy. It was definitely just that for me but he has had his 1-year pictures taken so it was time. Saturday we took him to see Aunt Schelle and with still being leery of seeing his locks gone we hesitantly told her to only take a little off the back, well, we got home and decided that it was a little to 'amish' for our liking so we asked her to come back Sunday and take more off. It was definitely easier the second time around and he actually did pretty well both times, don't let the smashing of his face fool you. Look at what a big boy he is... the last picture is of him just before he left for the sitters today.

Awww....he did have a lot of hair!! I am trying to decide when and if to get Chase's done..
Such a cutie pie - with and without the fly-aways! He looks like such a little boy now, amazing what something simple, like a hair cut, does to the look of our kiddos :)
your're cracking me up, Amish look. Looks like round 2 turned out better. Suckers for haircuts work wonders, nothing like a good hairy sucker. :-)
