Last week Gavin's babysitter took the week off so he went back and forth between people but I think he really enjoyed seeing everyone. Thank you grandma Stokes and Dee for helping us out. Friday was my day to watch him so we picked up my mom and off to Binder Lake we went. Now we really didn't get much fishing in but it was such a beautiful day that it was nice to just be out and enjoying the weather. We decided to have a picnic lunch so as we were laying all our stuff out on the picnic table a flock of ducks (if that's how they are referred) came our way. Gavin loved them, he and grandma fed them potato chips and he just couldn't get enough. When they would wonder off so would he, they went in the water and he would have except we had a hold on his shirt. I swear this child is fearless and will try anything. The ducks loved that they were being fed that at one point one of them snapped at Gavin's hand thinking he had more food then while we were eating lunch I had two very hungry ducks about 4 inches from my back waiting for food. I have to admit that I was afraid they were going to start pecking at any point... of course I made sure they knew that they would be knocked silly if that happened but I don't think they cared much. It was just a really nice day being outside and enjoying this weird but wonderful August weather.
