Gavin is growing and learning so many new things. He is still really good at mimicking things we say and do and is saying more words... still Gavin lingo but they count just the same. The other night Jim was reading books to him while I was making dinner, he has a book with numbers in it that they were reading and I was amazed that he could count as far as he could. For a while now we've said "1...2...3" when we put him down or before we do things and he loved to count along but now it's grown to more numbers. I guess I didn't realize he could do this because we haven't tried a whole lot but his babysitter says they've been working on it. I had Jim take video of it last night. The picture is a little grainy but you can hear him counting... I'm so proud!!!Another thing he's been doing lately is attempting to swim while in the tub, it's so cute because his butt cheeks stick out of the water... dad calls them butt mountains!!! He loves getting soap on this face then he quickly wipes it off, it has become a new bath tub game. As you can see from the pictures he also has bath crayons to get creative with.
In our house we use time out as a means of discipline if Gavin gets a little unruly or when he throws fits or tries to hit. I'd say half and half that it works. The other night dad put him in time out and I thought it was cute that I could see his little feet sticking out from his corner, probably not the best time to take pictures but I just had to.
Everything has been pretty good at the house, everyone has been pretty healthy and staying busy.

Wow! What a good counter...all the way to 10. Im impressed. :)
that is awesome! Chase doesn't say the numbers on his own, but will usually say the number following the one I say! And I am impressed that he stays in the time out chair...we use the crib, otherwise he wouldn't stay put!!
