Visit to ER

Last week Gavin had been feeling warmer than normal, so much that the babysitter said she had to change his shirt one day since he soaked it with sweat, then both grandma's said he was warm on Friday and just slept all day while they watched him. As we all know, he is not the type of baby that is just going to sleep all day so when I got home from work I decided to check his temperature and sure enough he was runnig a mild fever of 99.7 then I checked it about 5 minutes later and it was up to 101.5 so I called the on call doctor and they advised us to take him to Capital Region. Once there they determined that he had an ear infection so they prescribed Amoxicillin for the next 10 days. His temperature got up to 102 over the weekend but it seems like the medicine is setting in and he's doing much better. He really scared us Friday but I'm so glad to have my little man back!!!
