Gavin had his 4-month check up Wednesday afternoon and it went really well. Without us even asking, she recommended that we start him on a regular formula, yes that means no more of the lavish food he has been used to. She wants us to try this out for two weeks to see if it agrees with is belly and then if it does he will be able to start on some veggies. We are thinking about pureeing our own food but obviously that will go as long as time allows it... ha. We both think it sounds like fun so we'll see how it goes. She said all his measurements are good and he's is growing good. She showed us a chart of all his measurements combined compared to averages and what not and she said he is just kind of on his own path as far as that's concerned... our big boy!!! Here are his stats:
Weight: 20lbs. 13oz. - 97th percentile
Length: 26 1/2 inches - 90th percentile
Head circumference: 17 1/4 inches - 75th percentileDad decided to take some pictures while Gavin was getting ready to get his shots and during but I don't have the heart to post those... he cried for about 10 seconds and he is making the saddest face. I did, however post some pictures of him waiting while we were talking to the doctor. In one picture he's looking to the side at her like "oh, okay... I see what you mean". It was really cute.

Oh no...stop! He's growing too fast! =) I bet you guys can't wait until he starts walking...our little guys are getting kinda big! =P
