4 months and 2 weeks old
Okay - so last night two things happened. Gavin slept all night uninterrupted and I had a mommy break down. First, I decided to put the bumpers back on his bed so that if he does roll over he no longer bangs his head on the bars and we decided to just let him lay on his belly to sleep. So we put him to bed last night and he just kept rolling over then Jim decided to put a rolled up blanket (Mary's blanket are good for more than just snuggling) on his side to prevent that but he just kept rolling over the blanket. We finally decided that our little guy has just become a belly sleeper because it was a matter of seconds after we just positioned him in the middle of the bed and on his belly that he fell asleep and was out for the night.
Second was the mommy break down, I decided to look back on pictures from the day Gavin was born and the days in the hospital. Boy was that a mistake to do last night as it made me cry. Things get so hectic and time has just flown by that it all just feels like a distant memory. I mean, I remember him from those times but it's seems so long ago that it's so vague. It was a very sad moment for me. I love watching him learn new things and grown into the wonderful baby he is but at the same time I want time to stop so that I can just sit and watch him, oh no I'm crying again. Anyway, here are some pictures of him at the hospital then this weekend... I can't believe how much he has changed.
