Hippity-Hop!!!

The Easter Bunny graced our house Sunday morning to bring Gavin a baseball basket with a chocolate bunny, a sippy cup, cheese puffs, some soft balls to throw around, and an activity center type thing. Of course the 'Easter Bunny' was so tired the night before from hanging out with family at grandma Scott's that she went to bed early and forgot to drop off the gifts, I'm so glad Gavin is young enough that he didn't know the difference...ha. The first thing he noticed in his basket were the cheese puffs, his second favorite food after bananas. Once I showed him that the chocolate bunny was to eat and not just stare at he thoroughly enjoyed himself so much that I had to take it away from him. I'm not a huge fan of giving him lots of sweets, hence bananas being his favorite food, so small quantities is my thing. I let him nibble on the ears of the bunny then it was sent to the fridge for keeping. Luckily Gavin didn't seem to mind much and it was on to playing with toys. After he played a little we headed to grandma and grandpa Stokes's for breakfast then home for an hour and half nap then off to my grandma Rehagen's for lunch then Jim's grandma's for dinner. I was really impressed with Gavin yesterday with only having one nap that morning, he did pretty well and made it until 8:30 p.m. with no fussing. Oh and yes Gavin is wearing a tie and no he wasn't off to a job interview, or coaching a basketball game... ha!!!
