Friends camping

This past weekend we had our annual friends camping trip. It was a really good weekend with the group and surprisingly not too hot, I'm sure being next to the lake and under many trees helped a lot. Friday night we just hung out, played some games and stayed up late. Saturday was an awesome day on the water for me although I think every muscle from my neck to feet are sore... I kept saying it was my day of many first. Now that I'm thinking of it I can't remember what all those first were but here are a couple... although tubing wasn't a first for me it was a first that I did it behind a boat rather than a waverunner and I sat on my butt rather than laying on my belly like I before. Then I actually got up on the wakeboard, my friend Lori's cousin Nick has a wonderful boat with all the amenities needed to wakeboard. We had speakers for adrenaline and speed of the boat. Last year I attempted to do this but wasn't doing it right so it didn't happen, Nick said this year that I made it about 14ft. Some may not think that's much but I'd say that's much progress from the year before. We will be back down to camp with her family again so lets bring it on!!! Maybe I can get Jim to attempt it at that time.

Anyway, we had a really fun weekend with the friends and can't wait until next year. Here are a couple pictures I took from Lori's blog... thanks for the fast post!!!
