So please tell me that kids can go through the terrible two's at 15 months. My aunt said her kids went through it around 14 months so I really hope that is what's going on with Gavin. He is being pretty unruly these days. He still throws food off his tray but now it's only when he's full so at least we have progress, I still haven't been able to convince him that setting them down is better. He will hold on to my pants with dear life and then walk in front of me, while I'm walking mind you, whining wanting me to pick him up, he throws tantrums when we change his clothes or diaper and sometimes when he doesn't get his way. Like last night he screamed his head off when we were in Walmart because I wouldn't give him the yogurt that I just put in the cart, I would have to say that is now his favorite food. Yes, I'm sure we gave in a little too much when he was a baby but I just really hope this is a phase... the babysitter and other mothers tell me that it's just something babies go through and all kids do it so I guess we will see.
Let me add some positives because I don't like just speaking negatives about him or anyone. He has this cute obsession with his blankets. He loves to sleep with a blanket and every morning when we get him up he wants us to put it on our shoulder so he can cuddle it. I found him the other day carrying his blanket over his shoulder (almost like a hobo bag) and carrying his cookie monster toy (cooookiee) in the other hand... it was very cute. He is chatting up a storm and just really acts like he wants to say a lot of things and he is mimicking everything. I got him to say 'dude' last night, it was cute!!! He is learning so much and growing so much... it's almost hard to keep up with him but I look at it as my exercise regimen... ha.
