Jim's cousin Andrew finally got married to his sweetheart Stephanie. It was our first attempt, since Gavin has been mobile, that we had him sit through a church service. We decided that it would be best to sit in the back of the church in case a quick exit was needed. We sat right behind Mandy, Chase, and Famous so the boys had entertainment. I don't know if that was a good or bad thing because while it kept them entertained they also would talk and squeal at each other. I was happy that the wedding wasn't a complete catholic mass as I think both Gavin and Chase were getting testy. After the wedding they had a dinner and reception at the hall behind the church. It was a long day for the kiddos and Gavin decided that it would be fun to give Chase pushes here and there so we didn't stay much longer which was probably a good thing because he fell asleep on the way home at 7:00. This is what happens when he gets an earlier nap and too much awake time in between. We have a wedding this coming Saturday at the same time so I think Gavin and myself will sit at home until the reception to avoid this. Overall, I think he did pretty well for a 16 month old but it was an exhausting day chasing him... ha.
frolicking...
I love this picture... Chase looks like he's saying "doh!!"
