Thanks to my friend Tara, Gavin has had a piggy bank since he was a baby. He absolutely loves putting money in that thing, I know he doesn't have the concept of money yet so it must just be fun to see it disappear. I always tell him to sit down then I place the money and piggy bank in front of him so he can feed away. It got so bad that anytime we would enter or leave his room he wanted to put money in his bank, well I didn't want to just keep giving him money 5 times a day so I would pull the plug and take from there so he at least had some to insert. I know, I know... bad mom. I just started to tell him that piggy bank was sleeping and to wave bye-bye and say night-night so now he waves and says night-night... very cute!!! Yesterday Jim and Gavin went to the store then brought change home which included some dollar bills and since he usually just gets coins I thought we'd spice it up. Well, I handed $2.00 to Gavin and told him to put it in his piggy bank and he took off running with money in hand to his room. I was amazed that he actually knew what I was talking about. I came to his room to find him sitting on the floor with his money in hand waiting for the piggy bank... it was the cutest thing ever so I had to take some pictures. I just can't believe some of the things he knows and remembers... it's amazing to watch him grow like this!!!
He always has to turn it over and pull the plug to look inside!!!

Oh no, I am seeing another Jim Bob in our future. Pretty soon he is going to start putting coupons in there too. :) Ha! Very cute!
