It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Last week we had our first 'real' snow... now I know we only barely got an inch but that's plenty for me. I just love watching it fall and seeing the ground beautifully covered in white. I so hope the weather stays cool enough that we can have a white Christmas... I can't remember when the last time was that happened. We follow through with another one of our holiday traditions and went driving around looking at Christmas lights. There is a house out by Moreau Heights that we have to visit every year, they convert their garage into a village and play music and have a fake cow 'mooing' and a Santa 'ho-ho-hoing'. It is a place I can't miss and Gavin enjoyed it just as much as I did this year, I think I enjoyed it more with seeing the look on his face. He has come to be fascinated with nutcrackers just as I am so I had to get our picture taken by the life size one at their front door... I sure hope they didn't see us...ha.
We also had our first Christmas this weekend as well at my grandma's. I think I ate too many peanut butters balls because my stomach was so upset that night but they are totally worth it. I really feel like Christmas is going to be so much fun this year, Gavin actually enjoyed opening his present and it was so much fun watching him. You could just see the excitement on his face. I know I say it a lot but it's just amazing to watch him grow and find things exciting... I truly live through his eyes and it's so much fun!!!

Dad was covering Gavin with the laundry basket...
