Fun & Snow

This past weekend we had a family baby shower for Stephanie (Matt's wife) and when I went over to help set up I brought Gavin and Jim along. I think Gavin and Chase really enjoy hanging out with each other as their faces light up when we say the others names. Mandy said that Chase was playing with the guys but when we got there she said "Gavin's here" and he dropped what he was doing to come play... it was VERY cute. They play so well together and it's cute to watch.

Yesterday we got more snow and I knew today would be much cooler, single digits I'm talking, so I bundled Gavin up to do some sledding. I think that's the longest it's taken to get him ready to go outside... I handed him his under clothes and asked him to bring them in the living room which he did but it took me about 10 minutes to find them and when I finally did they were in his Radio Flyer Turtles compartment/belly. Totally and obviously the last place I would think his clothes would be. So I got those on him then his snow bibs and boots then I had to go get his gloves so I put those on him and of course I had to find his hat so when I got back he had taken off his gloves. I could only find one BUT this time I knew exactly where to look, the turtles belly and AH HA, gloves. So I put the gloves and hat on him then it was time to get me ready and when I came back his gloves were off again and his hat was missing... wew!!! I finally got both of us ready and out we went. He had a lot of fun walking in the snow, throwing snowballs to Patch and watching me make a snowman. Now, don't laugh when you see the snowman I made... it was getting dark and Jim hadn't made it home yet so I was trying to keep my eye on Gavin while doing this. Its not very big but I've been itching to make one so, ta-da!!!
