This weekend we didn't do very much and hung around the house quite a bit but sometimes its great to have weekends like that. Yesterday was such a beautiful day (you know, compared to the negative wind chills we've had) that we decided to get outside and enjoy it. We walked to the end of our lot, down around the mini creek and back. Gavin loved exploring and it was nice to get out and feel the warmth of the sun. It was a great day to take pictures... the sky could have been a little bit brighter blue but it was nice. I can't wait until things are greener and brighter and we can explore some more. Yesterday made us want warmer spring-like weather all that much more... bring it on!!!

I have always loved this tree toward the end of our yard and we found out last year at Gavin's birthday party that it's a pecan tree... I don't think it produced like last year but it's still pretty to look at
