Annual weekend after Labor Day trip

This past weekend we went to the lake with the whole Stokes' clan... it was so much fun but went way to fast. We went down on Thursday night and met up with Mandy, Famous and Chase so we could have an extra night and get the boys settled in. The boys played so well together, it's just so much fun watching them play. They watched movies, played with each others toys and just had a good time. You could tell they had a good time... there were a couple times Chase would want to bang on our door to wake Gavin up. It was way cute!!! We took the kids to the pool both Friday and Saturday and they had a kid area where water sprayed in every direction, Gavin absolutely loved it which was no surprise to me since he is a water bug. I think the funniest moment of the weekend was when Debbie was standing in the kiddie area with Gavin while the water was off and Jim's dad put his hand in front of the motion detector and the water came gushing out it got her good... if I had a picture to capture the look on her face it would have been priceless. I still don't know if it was intentional but I have reason to believe that it kind of was since Neil had his camera ready. Mind you, she was in her normal clothes so no bathing suit... she was a great sport about it though!!! Also on Saturday Osage Beach had its annual Fall Festival which I must say wasn't near as good as the Cole County, this was more of an informational gathering but it still had bounce houses and animals to pet so Gavin at least had some fun things to do. I think next year I'll have to make a special trip back to Jeff since I always miss the one at the fairground and I got the cutest fall decorations there the time I got to go... I need to go again. All in all it was a great weekend... enjoy the pics!!!
